Adult ESL classes are offered three days a week to K.T. Murphy parents wishing to improve their ability to communicate using the English language. These classes help parents to:

• Develop listening and communication skills necessary as adults in family, community or workplace situations

• Read and write in English for a variety of purposes

• Increase their ability to help their children with homework as well as increasing their ability to participate in their child's education as a whole

Classes are taught by retired KTM classroom teacher Rosalea Fisher, who uses an "English immersion " approach to teach life skills targeting listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Nothing is more beneficial to student learning than the partnership between parents, schools and students. Parents seeking to strengthen this partnership through better communication skills are urged to sign up for this program. Classes are free of charge.

Classes are held on:Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays
from 9:15 to 11:00 am.

*Preschool children are welcome to attend with their parents.*
