English as a Second Language (ESL)
The overall E.S.L. program goal is to assist non-English speaking students to achieve mastery of the English language. In the program, students will learn to understand and respond to spoken English. They will learn to express themselves in acceptable forms of English. The children will learn to comprehend and utilize written forms. This will help them to adjust to school and improve their self image and confidence.
Title I Math:
Title I Math provides intervention for students at risk. Basic math facts and skills are assessed continually and addressed individually for each child. The program also focuses on effective teaching strategies that help to close the achievement gap.
